Beginning research design with emphasis on the basic processes of inquiry. Identifying and articulating research problems; determining and describing procedures for conducting research; designing data collecting procedures; formulating testable hypotheses; interpreting and drawing conclusions fromdata analysis, and reporting research findings and implications.
Prerequisites: students should have taken a statistics course such as INFSCI 2006 (Statistics in Information Science)
